    documents to expect with discharge?

    hello all,

my understanding is that the discharge order gets signed by a judge.

along with the discharge, in a no-asset ch7, is there also a separate order signed by a judge that officially approves the trustee's "report of no distribution"?

Yup it is called a Final Decree, you will get it once the case has been closed. Just reviewed mine on pacer. It just states "The estate of the above−named debtor has been fully administered." My BK was a CH 7 no assets, the UST Reported the same for mine. NO DISTRIBUTION.

do you (or someone else) know if there is anything that specifically approves the trustee's abandonment of property?

Yes, he notifies the Court in an informational document. We had one old car abandoned, our paid for house (as FL is a homestead state, homes are safe) and some other items he was not willing to trouble himself with. You will get a copy of all docketed stuff except for preliminary motions not yet acted on. 'Hub

so you mean the trustee puts an informational document on the docket, and then when the final decree comes, it automatically approves everything that was previously on the docket? or does the judge sign the informational document itself?

          thanks 'Hub
