You know, that's actually a really great point. I'm fairly left-leaning, and I find a lot to criticize, but we're very, very lucky to live in America. I guess I appreciate it right now more than ever.

indeed, not all countries have bk. i think i read somewhere the germany added it to their laws only a few years ago. certainly something to be thankful for. and bk is not the only good thing about america, is it; for example, here you get to criticize all you want without being thrown in jail (well, most of the time!).
