sorry I am reposting this again. I am leasing a mercedes through daimlerchryler and I want to keep the car. (i use it to show real estate) Lawyer says judge in my district doesn't reaffirm (assume) car leases.
I spoke to daimlerchysler and they were pretty nasty to me. Basiclly they told me that if I wanted to keep the car I need reaffirm it. My lawyer told me they don't want the car, they are just playing hardball.
I searched through the forums and I didn't see any mercedes being repoed, but I did see some threads that Chrysler will take the car back.
So I am wondering if I should keep paying and hope for the best or should I assume that it will be taken and stop making payments to save for a car after I am discharged?
