    schedules

K...so I thought I got alimony 1200.00 a month in alimony and 425.00 in retirement. That is what was on the schedules. I filled them out in april. Well, since I got the random audit and was looking up papers at home here. I found out I got 1300.00...which is 600.00 every other week and May 1st my retirement went up 22.00 to 447.00. I was working at the time I did the papers. Well, the middle of May I had to quit my pt job cuz of 13 yr not wanting to be alone when I had him. Then the end of May I lost the other job.So...I went and told the lawyer today...cuz I was worried about the amounts....it is only 122.00.He says don't worry...it's small amount....we won't amend anything. We will get to the hearing 341. When they ask you if everything is correct in the schedules...say yes but and focus on the four things....yes, but the alimony says I get 1200.00 I get a 600.00 ck every other week so that equals to 1300.00 a month, my retirement went up 22.00 , then I had to quit pt job due to hours and my 13 yr old being alone in middle of may, then lost my other job due to lack of work at end of May. He said don't ramble on.... and to listen to all questions carefully.Does this all make sense to you???? I was so worked up about all that. So tell me.....they do usually ask you if anything has changed on your schedules????Just makes me a little nervous....

listen to your lawyer. answer only the questions actually posed by the trustee, not anything else. and stop talking as soon as you give the answer, and make it short. practice ahead of time, placing a premium on saying as little as possible as clearly as possible.

amendments are at most $26, but perhaps free - someone else maybe knows for sure.

Well the actual amendment is 26 dollars but my lawyer charges 225 to do it. I'm waiting for a couple weeks so I can get the money to amend my petition. :/

My attorney charges $175 to amend, plus the court cost of $26...Denise, do you really want to pay that?!? Take your attorny's advice and keep your answers concise at the 341.

That's why you need to get all the "changes" together and amend your petition all at once.

You need to trust your attorney, *if* he says tell the Trustee at the 341, then tell him (in as few words as possible). The Trustee will let your attorney know *if* he want him to amend the petiton.

if the trustee doesn't bother to ask you whether anything changed, you may not need to say anything. ask your lawyer and make sure you understand what he is suggesting.

it may be that even after the trustee learns about the changes, he won't think they are significant enough to warrant bothering with amendments. that's why your lawyer says he will amend only if they ask him to. he is being ethical, saving you unnecessary expense. he sounds like a good chap. so relax!

90.00 for 15minutes now. Since this is extra now. I'm trying to break my words down to make it even shorter...that won't matter.Saying I lost my job the end of may...isn't that good enough..then had to quit pt job middle of may due to hours and son???? Getting worried here.

He charges you $90 every 15 minutes? Hmmm, I think you just need to take a deep breath and calm down. He answered you question regarding changing the amendments...only if the Trustee asks....you are getting yourself so worked up and you haven't even had your 341 yet!
