On the bad side...I won't tell you not to worry about it because I know what a waste of time it was when people told me before mine.
On the bright side....it will be over in less than 2 hours and unless something really unusual happens, you are going to be surprised how quick and painless it was. Plus, the relief I felt afterwards was amazing knowing that second to making the choice to file, the hardest part of this whole ordeal was over and <knock on wood> it's just a waiting game for the discharge to go through.
Not sure why I was so stressed, everyone was right - it was pretty painless. The trustee was very business-like but not confrontational or judgmental. No creditors showed up, which I'm told is the norm.
He asked all the standard questions that our lawyer said he would. There were a couple of inaccuracies on our filing and he asked about them but we straightened it out and he told our lawyer to send an amendment but he didn't act like it was a big deal.
I guess we just wait to see if any red flags get thrown up and keep praying that it goes smoothly to a quick end. Our lawyer acted like everything was fine.
Thanks for the good vibes and prayers!
