the courts/tt feel they are very important, they will not dismiss without both. you can check your Pacer summary to see if both have been filed in your case. you must have completed the first pre BK one as you need it to file. did you take the post BK one yet?

Yes....I have both done. I don't know if I did a good job at it.....that worries me. I mean the info in them, that you put in there. So scared about this now. Just another thing to add to my worries. Or do they just want you to have it done or does it have to be exact to your filing papers. The place on line did not give a print out to me.I don't use pacer....that would not be good for me.

Those two classes, especially the second one, were the biggest joke EVER!!! Just a way for the credit counseling services to make money.

What happens in both, how did you take them

I was wondering did you have to go somewhere to take them or did you do it online and what all was involved with them?

Eli, Mine were both done online. Your lawyer should be able to recommend also.

                  Address?

I am not using a lawyer as I don't have the money and mine only involves a car and cc debt, I have nothing else so it should not be that tough, just wondered if you had the web site addresses where you did yours.

This one paper from my Lawyer....a BK info sheet he gave me.....said I had to pay for the first class myself. It said that about the first class. So, I paid for it myself the first one. I took the second one and my BF paid for it. On the sheet it didn't say I had to pay for the second one myself???? Does this even matter??????? Or why does it matter or am I just stressing as usual???

Eli, I would definitely recommend you checking with your particular court. In the Northern District of Iowa they gave me a list of recommended ones and I would definitely go that route for your particular district. But to answer your question.

You have to use an approved agency...check out this link where you can find approved ones in your area.
