    I am filed

    Had an appointment with my attorney today, all paperwork in order. He is filing today. He said everything looks great and I shouldnt have any problems. He is a really nice dude, I'm glad I picked him. Anyways, they said I should know my 341 date on Tuesday.

    I'm really close to the means...really close. I was worried I was over. I guess living in the most expensive county in the US has its perks afterall.

    Congrats on "getting the ball rolling"...

    I am over the median too (21K), but my attorney doesn't see any problems with my petition....good luck!
    May 2008 Hired 1st Attorney/Stopped paying CCs
    May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
    May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
    9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

      Congrats and good luck!

      We just turned in our paperwork to attorney today and will be signing & filing July 6th. I'm looking forward to that day, one step closer to freedom!

              Who is your trustee? Do you have to go to Alexandria for your 341?
