So I keep getting bills from this one creditor..

I included them in my BK and I've told them this numerous times. I've even given them my lawyers phone number and my case number.

Today I received yet another bill though.

My question is I'm waiting to see if the UST withdraws his presumption. If he doesn't my case will get dismissed anyway.

In the meantime should I bug my lawyer about this again or just leave it alone? We expect an answer from the UST by July 3rd.

if its just the monthly bill, i would forget about it. it's probably the billing department hasn't yet gotten word from the bankruptcy department. if they call you or actually annoy you further, beyond just getting the statement once a month in the mail, then i'd bug the lawyer.

Just send the bill to me and I will contact them and tell them to go pound sand for you.

That would infuriate me if some company kept sending me a bill after the bankruptcy was discharged.

At the very least, make a copy of the paperwork of the discharge and just mail it back with the bill and hand write, "GO POUND SAND" on the note.

We have been discharged and keep getting letters from the people who bought our second mortgage while we in bankruptcy about owing this debt. Our lawyer told us to send them copies of the discharge, tell them they are violating order of the court and if they contact us again our lawyer will be pressing charges and suing them. I sent the letter certified with a return receipt to prove I sent it. We shall see what happens!
