    Flag on Pacer

Filed bk on 02/20/2009 341 meeting was on 03/26/09. On Pacer it says awaiting discharge and on the status it says Dischdue. Is this good? I wonder why it is taking so long, we are way past our 60 days we are at day 90.

can you check the docket sheet itself? if it's officially discharged, there would be an order signed by a judge.

if you don't find that order, call the clerk's office and ask very nicely (or if you have an atty maybe ask him first).

If you are in Florida by chance and filled in mid to late Febuary, discharges are taking around 90 days, especially in middle district. Hope that helps, I would assume other high forclosure districts are about the same.

The court system is overwhelmed almost and it could take much longer than 60 days depending on district. In fact the Justice dept. recently was requesting more bk judges and to make some temporary bk judgeships permanent.
