    Our 341 meeting is done with!

    We had our 341 meeting today and it went fast!
    No problems at all! Raised our right hand, said everything we were telling was the truth. The trustee asked no questions, said we were free to go! Took us 3 minutes, if that! We gave the certificates for doing our Counseling Debt Class to our Lawyers Assistant, since she asked about it.. (even though we put in our lawyers email for them to send one to them as well) and she said it would probably take 45 days til its finally done and over with!

    We went to get a "cheap" bite to eat after it was done and headed home.
    My mom and lil sis was watching the kids while my husband and I went to the meeting. We thought we'd might as well take some advantage of getting some "couple" time together... so we stopped to get some lunch and headed home.

    I can't wait for all of this to be done and over with!

    May 21, 2009 Retained 2nd Attorney
    May 28th - Filed for Ch 7 (FINALLY!)
    9/11/09 - DISCHARGED!!!!

      Great! So happy for you. Esp. happy that it was EASY!

      I leave for mine in a few hours - my case is super easy (no assets - no job - no money or anything) so I am hoping they won't be interested in me.

            Congratulations! I hope your next 60 days are uneventful.
            4/09 Converted to a Ch 7 due to loss in dh's income
            5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
            7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
            7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!
