    Statement of Intention

So, I have to re-file my statement of intention using the Local Form instead of the Official Form. It seems like no big deal, except the one difference is a part where I have to sign and swear that I served the form to any creditor's listed on the form. The only thing listed on the entire form is the property management company for my apartment, and I am assuming that lease. Do I still have to send them a copy, or does that pertain to creditors for secured property only?

Anyone else's local form have this stipulation?
Filed Ch. 7 (pro se) 6/15/09

My understanding is that it is for secured property ONLY, not apartment leases. I haven't sent mine out yet (just filed) but the Nolo book says that you have to have someone ELSE sign the paperwork as a witness that they were sent. I don't think you can sign as your own witness. My DH is going to go to the post office with a coworker who filed BK several years ago and he is going to be the witness.
