Will the go after my mother

I am going to file for bankruptcy for my credit cards,but my mother is on one of them.
I put her on the card a few years back and she never used it.I wanted to know if they will go after her for payments.

Is she an authorized user or a cosigner? If she ever signed anything related to the account, then they probably can go after her for the amount. If the account was always in your just your name, you added her as an authorized user, but she never signed any forms, then I doubt they could try to go after her. Others on here can probably answer this question better than I. Good luck.

if she is only an authorized user then i believe, like frustrated7, that they cannot go after her. it's not her debt.
