He works nights and apparently he decided he would try his luck at the casino instead of going to work. He did not win--he lost 3000.00 Let me repeat that three thousand dollars!!!! He has apologized up and down. He has agreed to seek out therapy and continue GA. Which I guess is good. I can only point the finger so much.

I/WE dont have 3000 dollars to lose!!!!!!!!We are filing Bk for gods sake. So he got the money using a VIP Prefferred card-global payments--it takes the money out of your checking acct. I dont have 3000 in there- so I called the bank and put stop payment on this. I left a message for my lawyer--he is on vacation this week. My lawyer is gonna wish he had never met us.

Is there any help for us??

    Mary

Holy sh*t would I be in trouble. I hope thats his only vice.

I think you have to do it in person. At least at the casino around here you do. But they are pretty agressive about not letting you in if the ban is in place. You literally get aressted for trespassing, but it is an Indian casino, so that may be why?

Most casinos will ask you to leave the first time, and then if you dont leave or re-enter they will call the police. I am not exactly sure how they treat it if you are on the list voluntarily though.

Yes, they ask that you come into the casino to "ban yourself" and they take a lovely "mug shot" of you so the security guards are on the lookout in case you decide to 'trespass' on the property....

Good Luck to the OP. I would suggest that both you and your husband seek an therapist that specializes in additions. When you file you BK, at least the Trustee will see that the two of you are getting help.
          Hang in there.
