    Over 60 days club

    I filed 3/05

    my 422 was 4/06 and went smooth. Trustee recommended a discharge right away.

    It was set to be discharged 6/5/09. I have been checking pacer daily and there has been no change in my status.

    Hope it is discharged soon.


    The decision to file was the only choice I had. Things are actually worse now for me as my job will stop paying us next month until a state budget is passed. I am freaking out since i have no cards or credit to live on while I have to work without pay.

    I just hope the discharge comes soon. I cannot take anymore stress at this point and at verge of a mental breakdown or worse.

    Im crossing my fingers for you! Im at 60 days today............ I hope things turn around soon for you and that you actually get to enjoy financial freedom. Good luck with the job factor.

      If you filed with a lawyer, call and ask him/her to find out what the hold up is. If you filed on your own, then call the bk court and ask for the bk court clerk. Ask him/her very politely if they could please give you an update on your case.

      Sometimes these delays are due to your case being stuck in a pile on your trustee's desk and a little tug on the clerk's coattails from you or your lawyer is all that's needed to get the discharge posted on PACER.

      09/27/07 - Confirmed at last!
      06/10/11 - Trustee confirms all payments made
      08/10/11 - DISCHARGED !
      10/02/11 - CASE CLOSED
      Countdown: 60 months paid, 0 months to go

        Hang in there!!!

        My 341 was 4/3 and the last day for obj was 6/2. As of 6/15, I had not seen any update to discharge, so I called the clerk and she said it should be any day now and that she would bring it to the discharge clerks attention. Well, I checked today and my case was closed and discharged same day 6/15!!!! I don't see any harm in calling, but I would wait at least 10 business days after the last day for objection. You'll be doing the happy dance like me in no time!!!!!

          I am going to wait a bit longer before calling. I am not really going to be happy since now i have no credit cards and starting in July I will be forced to work without pay until further notice and cannot collect uc. My life just keeps getting worse!
