Do they come to your home and take inventory of everything? Just curious.

They generally do not.

However if you have non exempt assets, they will likely send someone out to appraise the assets so they can determine what they want to do. This can also include a home where you cannot exempt all the equity.

Well having read your other thread there is a possibility they could send someone to look at the gun collection. However I'm not sure the possibility even then is very good.
