need to look into that. I highly doubt it.
He bought the MP5K 9 years ago, and it's trippled in price.
I bet it doubled since the current Administration got into office. I believe that the registration of those sorts of devices (items) may be excluded from the FOIA. Just as Florida has closed its concealed weapon license database from the public.

    I'm jealous.

      Now that's funny.

However, showing up at the 341 Meeting with an MP5K... or any weapon, Airsoft, plastic or not... is probably not a good idea.

Although, again, it would be funny to see the look on the Trustee's face when you plopped it down on the table... after racking the slide and saying "so, you really want this?"

        Hah!

No. In our district, you cannot even bring a cell phone in. And their metal detector is very sensitive. I had to almost 'disrobe' before I got rid of any and all possible pieces of metal clinging to my clothes. In my case, it was eyeglasses, a belt, bra straps, hair clamp, and a couple of my rings--sheesh!!!

I would get pawn shop valuations for the weapons that aren't NFA restricted.

The NFA weapons are hard to value. They are valuable but only for the right buyer. Maybe get a NFA dealer to give a valuation of what he would pay your husband for these weapons (which will be below market value) and then if you can't exempt them, at least you'll have a smaller hurdle to overcome. Perhaps, like others have said, you could arrange to pay the trustee in order to keep them.

          Good luck!

For anybody who hasn't been to a gun show lately, guns and especially ammo are pulling at least a 50% premium right now, some like the ar15, ak47, and mp5 are closer to 70%. Do not list your guns!! Sell them before bk !!(to me)(just kiddin)(sort of) In ohio you just walk into a gun show with a gun and within oh, like 5 seconds you are swarmmed by people wanting to buy them(cash only).
(hear is a list of shows in all states) http://www.gunshows-usa.com/
click your state and scroll down.

You are just throwing your money away if you keep them when you file. Now some not so honest people would say just don't mention them. But that would be dishonest and I wouldn't condone anything like that.

I paid $650 for mine 2 months ago, it has maybe 200 rounds through it. The pawn shops are saying $150. I guess I should sell it to my brother for $100 right
