Does this mean the US Trustee is involved?

Why do the trustees always ask for pay stubs and tax returns all the time, even after you`ve given them to them once recently? Don`t they have access to all of that with a few strokes of a computer? They already have the wage garnishment from your employer.

      3100K.
Some (Like 50K of it) I can do income contingent, but that is the straight out payment if you add them all up. No more forbearance, very little deferrment (but school is over Monday anyways, so the only thing left would be like 1 year of in school, and that is on like 30K of it).
MadDog, I am not garnished, have never been, so I doubt they have any of this info.....I did submit the paystubs with the filing, and it has YTD on it, so not too sure. But taxes I was told when I filed to BRING them to the 341, then a letter I got said to BRING them to the 341 - then YESTERDAY I got another letter from the trustee (not the UST, but the regular one assigned to me) to have 2008 taxes to his office by Monday the 15th. Ummm, ok - I was going off of his most recent letter which said to BRING them to the 341, so I sent them out overnight today and they should be at his office by 1030am on Monday. Weird. The trustee's office is 2 hours from me so I had to overnight them instead of bring them in like I did with the documents the UST wanted, that office is in my city. Oh well. Fingers crossed they will leave me alone and see how sad this is.
What prompted the BK was actually the fact that my employer told us that we will not be getting raises for at least 5 years - we normally advance each year a few hundred dollars a month, and them my recent schooling would put me up almost 10K a year more, but they told us with the budget in our state no one is getting raises at all for any reason for at least 5 years, and maybe not then. (this info was included in my filing as well). And insurance is going up for us, they are not going to cover as much.

No, they don't have access to the information.

Can I assume the US trustee has access at the stroke of the computer, cause thats who was asking her for it?

I dont think so - then why would they ask me for something they could get themselves? (well I know this is the government and all, LOL) My taxes are what they needed, so I doubt they have access to them, why waste time/money sending out requests and processing paperwork they could just review on the computer, they must not have access. As justbroke said, they don't....I don't think they do either.
