    schedule F help!! Please!!

i have reached a problem for me which is how do i list my creditors on schedule F?

I know from a to z but i have an home depot card that was issused thru citi bank so would i put down Home depot or Citi bank?

Also does anyone know how to make an appendix for all of the credit collections to whom my accounts have been turned over to? Or should I even worry about doing this?

they say to list the original creditor on schedule F and then make an appendix to list the collection agents that have taken over the collections so they can be contacted so they will stop calling in regards to the orginial debt and i am not sure on how to make one.

    please help!

Any advise concerning in part or all of the above would help a bunch...Thanks!

Okay my lawyer basically I think made a copy of Schedule F to make an appendix of sorts.

If the card on the front says Home Depot, I'd list it as Home Depot.

On listing it, list every collection agency and the original creditor. Even if its the same debt, oftentimes collection agencies will use a different account number etc for same debt. I think my lawyer just listed all collection agencies/original in alphabetical order.

ok thanks i will just list them all. but if i list them all wont that drive my debts up in the total amount section? as i look at my credit report it says like home depot i owe $0 but the collections agency it shows the amount i owe so maybe i should put home depot and then $0 for the amount but then put the collections agency and out the amount i owe? do you think this may work?

        Good point

You'd want to show the original creditor as having a balance.

What you might do is list the original creditors alphabetically first. With the debt amounts.

Then using the continuation (copy page) make an appendix in alphabetical listing of the debt collectors etc. Maybe with Appendix written at the top .

        Maybe someone else will comment

that is what someone else on another website said as well...so i guess what i will do is just make an Appendix page to show the collections agencies...so all i have to do is write Appendix at the top? and where should i file this maybe right behind the schedule F or should i put it at the end of all of the papers?

          thanks once again!

You could also mention them both.

I do not provide legal advice. All I do here is give my two cents as an opinion and at least share some of the facts that I know. Attorneys can provide legal advice, so go ask them or hire one.

yeah that sounds good as well...so if it has beed turned over to an collections agency how do you think i should list it on my schedule F because if i list both i would be driving my total amount up by double when that is not the case...
