Ya better soup up that Rascal! It 10 years time, mine is going to be super turbo.

I could probably get to Arkansas in two hours with the Super Turbo Rascal and we can set up some drag races ( Make a little cash on the side acting as bookies for the races)

That is how I look at it and yes I am in the second category myself. Last thing I want is to give these *******s even more money. No longer interested in the American dream being about stuff (crap).
Credit scores are important for those of us who don't yet own a house and want to buy one in the next few years. I live in CA and could not afford a home when the market was at its peak. Now that the bubble has burst, I could actually buy a house and pay LESS than my rent. But I need to get my scores up and let some time pass. I don't really care about having "stuff" and I've lived without credit cards for years, but I do need to reestablish my credit so I can buy a house.

Although, bankruptcy has been filed, I think people forget those out there who don't own a home or lost it in foreclosure. I can truly Empathize with you and gotta throw, my buddy in here, Dingdong, & others who has a Goal in Buying a/another home.

DH and I haven't filed BK 7... filing 9/09. We are lucky as our house payments are current and both of us have said next place is Heaven. We've moved 5 times since 2003 and we are no 'Spring Chickens, either'.

Thanks for reminding Me and others.

I agree with you...I live in CA as well and would have never been able to afford a home on a single parent's income, now would have been the opportune time to buy however BK was a necessary. I'm hoping the market stays in the dumps for a few more years.

I'll sell you a nice overpriced condo!! Course, the bank will probably have it up for auction for cheaper later on.... just be glad that you couldn't afford it back in the "boom"... I could and I bought it 2 years ago only to now be up the creek without a paddle and 150k upside on a fricken condo. Makes me so mad that I could go out right now and buy a bigger one for less than half of what I paid for the smallest one 2 years ago...unreal.
