I agree with Flamingo but only because I called two of the credit bureaus to ask that very question about a year ago.

        Woo Hoo!

Only 9 yrs 6 months to go for me.

I will probably get to finance my Rascal by that time.

Actually, you are the best credit risk possible the day after your discharge. I've got tons of credit offers coming in the mail each day now. I'm not saying the interest rates will be pretty but the offers are coming.

Yeah, that is what I hear....but...they seem to have lost my address, those durn CC companies.

Probably a good thing, don't think I would be getting many offers with my mid-500s credit scores anyway.

I have not received one offer, not even a crappy 250.00 in fees on a 300.00 intial CL. Not that I would take it.

I better start saving for my Rascal now.

I get at least two or three offers in my mailbox each week. A few are credit card offers but most are car financing offers. I'm just not interested.

Relief, we could meet for a Rascal rally. But you will have to wait 10 years till I can finance it.

Do you think we will still be posting to the BK forum then?

I think they will have some pretty nice souped up models by then, maybe a hover Rascal?

                    Could be fun!

Maybe I could just trade in the BAC now for a Rascal and drive that around!

I bet the Rascal gets killer mileage!

There is a big hill on the way to work, I bet I could get cranking going down the hill. Comin' back up would probably suck!

                        Don't mean to be nosey

Why is your discharge and closing taking so long? Are you an asset case?

The case is listed as a possible asset case. I have heard nothing since the discharge.

I hope no body takes this in the wrong way but I think its laughable to see someone worry about credit scores right after they have filed for BK.

Of course everybody's' reason for filing is different but anyone who filed due to excessive debt or overspending, should not be looking at credit scores.

That is how I look at it and yes I am in the second category myself. Last thing I want is to give these *******s even more money. No longer interested in the American dream being about stuff (crap).
