Would trustee challenge this?????

hi everyone,
i have been selling whatever i can on ebay to make $ for school, food, etc. i have made about 1500.00 over the past 2 months or so and probably have another 1.5-2000.00 left of things to sell (if im lucky enough to get bidders). would the trustee challenge that money if i used 100% of it for school? meaning i would pay in cash to my school with the money i got from ebay. like it will show 1500.00 in deposit to my checking account, 1500.00 withdrawal and then my receipt would show 1500.00 to my college as payment. i would think they wouldn't try to get that money back but im not sure. thanks for any advice!

It shouldn't be a problem. the school is not a creditor. Hopefully that money would put you over medium for income.

well i do not have a job so the only income i have is from ebay/amazon/half.com and it is NO WHERE near the $$ for means test for FL. i live with a friend but i don't have to worry about his income from what i understand so that is why i am trying to unload all the crap i dont want/need anymore.

my guess would be since you aren't filing taxes on the "income" then it wouldn't be on a tax return or income statement, thus not really real...
(also been cruising like a madwoman on craigslist and ebay....thank goodness as I'm still not used to the new budget)

oh well for my 08' taxes i put my income as my ebay income. it was my only true income. i thought we had to put it on our taxes if we made over $500.00??? anyone know if this is right???
