Are you saying that the California Wild Card exemption cannot be used for a car, or the excess value of a car over the $3500 auto exemption?

as far as i know the wild card can be used for most items,(the forms show everything from jewelry to cars to boats), hence the name "wild card". if you are still considered the owner, then i think you cant use the system 2, but can still use the standard auto exemption in system 1. but thats a really good question, about a foreclosing house, and wild card.
