Here is my dilemma: My 341 meeting is coming up in June. I work as a teacher, am a single parent, and filed for Chapter 7, although it was almost close enough to be a 13. Since I filed I have been working part-time scoring tests for a university. I will not be paid anything until after my 341 meeting. I am not trying to hide any money, but this job could end at any moment and is not predictable, so I hate to be thrown into a chapter 13 for a job that will probably only be a few months. My attorney is vague about dealing with this issue. Technically, my income has not changed since filing, so would I be lying if the trustee asked me if anything changed and I say, "no"? Any answers would be appreciated. Thank you.

The question is, is it worth the risk.
Sure you may very well be okay but if you are caught, your case could be totally dismissed. Further, you could end up with fraud charges. As a teacher that could be devastating for any future background check.

You need to go back over this with your attorney. Since you're paying him, ask him how you should answer that question at the 341 Meeting... and to be specific.Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10
