    Back from my 341!

    Went great. Faster than a breeze.

    The TT asked everyone about the same questions.

    State your name and address
    Is your social security card original and issued by the gov't.
    Did you carefully read all bk paperwork filed.
    Is everything true.
    Did you include all creditors and assets.

    That was it!!!

    Now I wait.

      Glad to hear your 341 meeting was a breeze.

      Yup, guess the 60+ days waiting is next. I read somewhere (can't remember, as I've slept since then LOL!) California is among the highest in % of consumers filing for Bankruptcy.

      I have a brother who lives near the Shasta Mountains and an elderly Aunt who lives in Eureka, CA.

        5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
        7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!

          For sure CA is up there in the highest. I thought AZ was up 91 percent from last year, but CA may have caught up easily :-0

          I hope that when it comes to my 341 , the TT having seen just about every scenario will go easy on me. I am so new to this and researching more info every minute.

              CA is the highest bk %. Maybe it's the high cost of living and the increase in unemployment in general.

              Hope that this economic crisis is over soon.

                  I checked and stats are recorded each quarter. I was surprised to find that according to this interactive map, CA is far from being the highest for the first quarter of 2009. Perhaps you have more recent stats to show CA has the highest number of personal filings of BK.
