Anyone owe Capital One and NOT be sued???

I was told by my attorney that Capt ONe uses in house attorneys now, Hyatt
THey sue right before they SOL runs out, They attached my friends final severance paycheck and grabbed her bank account funds. over 2000 debt. It took 18mos to sue her.

It makes sense for them to wait as long as possible to sue, they want the interest and late charges to run up as much as possible at their insane default rate. Once they file suit they can only collect interest at a rate defined by the court. That probably explains the constant attention of the phone calls in the mean time, they want to keep track of where you are since it's probably harder to skip trace someone who disappears once the trail goes cold.
