    Dismiss?

has anyone known someone or read cases that were dismissed by BK Judge
    What were reasons?

    #2
Dismissals are usually because you failed to comply with the Courts orders. This could include, in a Chapter 7, not surrendering property to the Trustee, not showing up for your 341 Meeting, not showing up for a hearing in which it was mandatory for you to attend (although your attorney can attend them for you). It could also be for other causes, like fraud, failure to file a complete package within 15 days of filing the initial petition (emergency petition), failure to submit required documentation to teh U.S. Trustee, etc.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

      I see..

Gosh that makes me more curious about everything they might ask for
what if they mail a request for something and I don't get it in the mail intime !
or the mail delays it back to them!

If or when i am requested something I think I will just hand deliver it
do they put in pacer when they send out a request for something?
      cause i could monitor that...

      oh boy ....sigh

Ok, you are starting to flip-out. This is when too much information, but not enough knowledge can hurt. Your lawyer will deal with most of this stuff.

If you filed through a lawyer... then you should relax. Only we pro se filers need to worry that much.

(Hmmm... are you a pro se filer?)

As HHM writes... relax. If you play the what if's in your head all day and night... guess what? You'll get no sleep. You will be miserable. You will be grouchy and snap at everyone. And, all that does nothing for your case.

So relax knowing that your lawyer is taking care of things.

See, don't worry. Spending money on groceries and medicine and housing and gas for car to go to work... all good things.

                          Stop worrying

If your lawyer has all that stuff then she'll provide whatever the trustee requests probably without you knowing it unless something comes up the lawyer doesn't have and then they'll contact you and you'll have time to get it
May 31st, 2007: Petition Filed by my lawyer
                          July 2nd, 2007: 341 Meeting Held
September 4th, 2007: Discharged and Closed.
