    Had My 341 Meeting on Friday (5/15/09)

    We had our 341 meeting on Friday and it went pretty smoothly. The Trustee was very nice and compassionate. We were almost home free but for some reason our lawyer did not have the deed to a rental property that my usband is a co-owner on. Trustee said he had to continue the 341 one until 6/26 and that if we provided the document to him by 6/1 chances are we would not need to appear.

    I have a few questions.

    1)Does the 60 days for objections start now or on the continued date of 6/26?

    2)When and how will we know if we have to appear on the 26th or not?

    3)My husband is involed in a lawsuit from a car accident last year. The Trustee asked about it and then moved right along. He didn't seem too interested in it. Does this mean that if he does receive anything it's exempt? Would he have made an issue about it at the meeting?

    4)Lastly our attorney told us prior to the 341 the our case might be converted over to a 13 b/c of our income; however, the Trustee didn't make any mention of this. In fact, he was pretty easy about everything. My question is, would we have known then if there was a chance of being converted to a 13 or is there still a possibility this could happen.
