Has anyone ever banked with Fifth Third Bank? This is the worst, most devious and least ethical bank I have ever done business with. I had 4 accounts (2 business and 2 personal) for about six months and had a dreadful experience with them. They charged me many hundreds of dollars in fees for the stupidest things you could possibly imagine. Finally I decided to close my accounts and find a new bank.
They wanted to charge me $60 for each account (total $240) for the privilege of closing these accounts--ridiculous. So, I withdrew all my money and kept the accounts open. Then, on just one account (with about $1 in it) they charged me a $6 fee for failing to maintain some minimum balance. I ignored it. Today, this account is overdrawn by more than $700 due to all of the fees (from this one $6 charge) which accumulate daily.
If I were not filing Ch 7, I would actually have to pay this bank. Instead, I actually enjoy each nasty letter they send and this negative balance just keeps getting funnier.
My lawyer says there will be no problem including them in the bk. Take that Fifth Third Bank.
