    sleep what is that?

I think the balance would have to be paid before (even day of) filing. but thats not bad, I figured a ch7 would be less expensive.

They will also look at the "totality of the circumstances". In schedules J and I they will look at your "current" income. I would think that with a current and ongoing decrease in income your chances for a ch7 are better.
I was thinking about waiting another month or two to file, but I don't think it would help. See for my permanent part-time job, I am on call 6 days a week. And...they have been calling alot lately so I've been making good money without the other two jobs. Plus my husband just got overtime last week at his job that strictly forbids it; go figure! No creditors banging down the doors yet but they try to call and I just don't answer my phone.

As far as a decrease in income, my husband made $3K less last year than what he made the year before and he is on track to make $3K less than that now for this year for a total loss of $6K in a two year period. Plus, I have an 18-year-old son at college whose child support just ended. So I'm thinking these two things will be a positive for a CH 7 for income barring I don't work too much like I am now and my husband doesn't get more overtime.

Thanks for all of your input!
