Question: If my Atty had to amend my BK to include my car, and this was a few days after my 341, does the 60 days start over?

I understand that many courts are back logged.
When we had our 341 the trustee gave us a memo that stated to expect 75 days here in our area for discharge.
I am not sure about the car inclusion for the 60 days.

I filed an amedment about 25 days into my waiting period and no, it does not start the 60 days over again.

My discharge took about 80 days because of the backlog. I actually called and they discharged me right over the phone.

I never heard a word from my trustee after the amendment was filed.

Sadly with the court load these days it is not uncommon to see cases taking 90 to 120 days in some areas

I bugged the paralegal at my attorney office, They called today to say it fell thru cracks, but court clerk will entered today in pacer my discharge. You may want to ck with attorney if not in there my 90 days. No news is good news .

Once the 60 days has passed, you are safe, the court will order discharge when they get to it. That date will be on your meeting of creditors notice.

I am confused as Pacer says I am on day 45 and I just had my 341 last week. Looks like they are calculating from when I filed?????

The Trustee looks over your bankruptcy at your 341 meeting,(she will then decide if you or no asset or assets case and If no asset she will enter a order into your court records
basically saying no asset case, ( she is done at this point) If she was going to object to something she did not like in your case you would of heard probably at the meeting most likely. The last thing before my discharge was the no asset report. Stop worrying
It will be over soon. You should be discharged any day.
