When we walked out of the room I asked my attorney if I was allowed to scream and of couse he just laughed but I really wasn't joking!

        Oh Georgiamommy:

I prayed last night your 341 would go thru without hitches.

WooHo! I know you are so relieved. And nothing said about your tax refund?-Wow!

There are so many people filing bankruptcy, I think the Trustees are overwhelmed with paperwork & just like any other government job, no relief in sight for help. In this case, I'm glad LOL!

Thanks Luci! You will also be in my prayers!
The Trustee really just seemed not interested at all in anybody's case.
The only thing he had my attorney for a week before was my 07 and 08 taxes and copies of my paycheck stubs. That was it. The Trustee told me I have all your information that your attorney submitted and I'm going to return these items to you now (tax returns and pay stubs). It was over so fast! I have picked my 4 year old son up from school early and we are going to spend the rest of the day in the pool, fun and sun here I come!!!!

Georgiamommy you are so fortunate. I received a call from my attorney this morning saying that I must bring actual detailed receipts for the previous year sorted by card. Nice that my boxes are already prepared that way and color coded with highlighters.

I am up in two hours.

My attorney even told me that my Trustee was one of the hardest one's?

I watched a dozen cases before mine. 75% of them had the same simple ten questions and took no more than a couple minutes each. In three of them the TT inquired deeper about transactions. In every case they asked about tax refunds. Then it was my turn. Special forms came out from a file that he had not used before me.

Grilled for 22 minutes. Details about every car over the past couple years, lots of questions about checks my ex wrote (filed individually now that I am divorced) and basically went through my expense budget schedule line by line asking for proof.

Attorney says it went well. I am ok; maybe emotionally drained from the worry. TT can file for dismissal in the next ten days, ask for assets if he thinks there are some or let it go through.

I do not think I am in the 60 day club.

My Trustee seemed to spend a few extra minutes on joint filers.
The single filers went very quickly. All of my credit card debt was due to groceries, gas, everyday living expenses. I told my attorney at my meeting that I wish I had a big screen TV or SOMETHING nice to show for all my debt. My attorney had a great sense of humor and I feel handled my case well. I can say that since I filed my overall well being has changed. No more harrassing calls at work and home. No more nasty letters. I spent about $3,000 of my tax refund paying my credit cards thinking I could get caught up but when I realized that I couldn't, that's when I made the decision to file. I just wish I wouldn't have put $3,000 in the toilet to those awful credit card companies.
