Does the trustee request anything from an employer regarding wages or earnings or do they simply go off the information on your check stubs?

I did, however, tell my boss we filed, and that we're walking away from our house. I didn't want to hide it from him because I'm going to need time off to get things done during all this. He's been very understanding and supportive about it all.
I also discussed it with my HR lady at work. She's been very helpfull in getting payroll, 401K, and other statements. She keeps everything confidential and she told me that she lost her house last year and filed CH13.Ch.7 filed 4/8/09

You made a similar posting in another thread about if the trustee would contact family/friends about your affairs. The trustee, if you are represented by legal counsel, works through your attorney as to informatoin regarding your matter. If he requires proof of something, he requests your attorney for that information. Usually paystubs, W-2's or tax returns supply the information needed and there is no need for further inquiry unless some sort of fraud is sensed._________________________________________
