AMEX called me at work today

Probably nothing to the call but the rep asked for my attorney's phone number and which chapter I would be filing. I gave the rep the info. They called last week also, we gave them my attorney's info then too.

I think they are fishing. Wht the multiple calls?

Tell them to stop calling you at work. They must do so after you tell them to stop and you have already referred them to your attorney. AMEX is very aggressive, but will stop when told usually. They did as soon as I told them not to call my work phone and to contact me through the mail instead.

AmEx is wierd.
They were the only company that didn't want to take my attorney's contact info.
I tried 3 times to get them to take it, but they kept interupting, trying to convince me BK wasn't the way to go.
When I finally got fed up, I told them they were wasting my time, and were they ready to take the info.
They hung up on me.

I ignored all of the Amex calls

even the ones from Wagner & Hunt PA. I stopped paying them last fall. Last week I received a summons. I owe them $18,xxx + fees.
