Getting closer to filing
Hi everyone - I have been off this forum for a while due to health issues following my surgery - I pretty much lost interest in getting anything done! We are back on track now, turned all paperwork in to our attorney and should have the schedules to review next week. If all goes well and the attorney is satisfied with how our file looks, we should be filing the second week of May!
Re-cap of our filing situation - Chapter 7 - for reference of those filing later
-two homes that we let go to foreclosure (1 in March, 1 in April - both by the first lienholders)
-two second mortgages that are now unsecured (over 170k combined)
-cc debt approaching 190k (going up thousands every month!)
-moved from CA to WA 6 mos ago
-we are now under the median by about 8k/yr
-we received (and spent) about 11.5k in tax refunds this year
