    You can get more advice from the people here if you give us a few more details like your housing and car situation.

    Main question obviously is what are your prospects for reemployment and what are you doing for money in the meantime. Does your wife work? The temporary (we hope!) interruption in income may open the window to Chapter 7 when otherwise you might be stuck in Chapter 13.

    Post as little or as much as you feel comfortable.

      Interview more lawyers....you need to trust him/her with your life.
      Downsize massively. Get rid of all but one car and buy bus passes and bikes.
      Try to earn more but don't count on it.
      Cut expenses...we have done drastic and small things and are living slightly below our means now. I've cut my grocery bill in half and it's still shrinking.
      We brought our kids on board...we didn't tell them BK but that we had cut up the CC's and anything that needed to be purchased, had to be budgeted for. Good luck. It sounds like you fought the good fight.
