Just received an offer in the mail of a MasterCard from First Premier Bank.

9.9%

So I called - I didn't listen to all the pitch but after this fee, that fee, this other fee, etc., it looked like it would be approaching $300.00 up front and an annual fee thereafter, charged monthly.

Good for you!!!!! I get them to.. its a joke. they probably give you a 300.00 balance and then charge up all there fees. The government should get after these companies for trying to rip off people with there outragous fees.

My wife and I had the same thing show up form First Premier Bank a couple weeks ago. I called and listened to the pitch, by the time they would get done yanking us with fees we would have sixty dollars in avalible credit on the account. I told them to go pound salt.
