Another Pacer Question....

I know I read it somewhere but can't find it in the search engine, but how often is Pacer updated? I am STILL WAITING for my lawyer to file so I am checking on there. Is real time or 1x a day? If 1x a day, what time does it update? Middle of the night?

I finally was able to get through to someone at the office last week and they said by the end of last week/beg of this week it should be filed... so I am waiting on pins and needles!

Pacer is updated daily.

I don't really think it is daily. I have checked multiple times in a single day, and sometimes stuff shows up in the middle of the day. I was getting obsessed, so now I try to just check once in the morning.

Also, it may be that your lawyer has filed you, but the case just hasn't been put in PACER yet.

"How often is the case information updated on PACER?

Case information appears on the PACER system in real time. Once case information has been updated in CM/ECF, that information is available through PACER immediately."
