There is mention of coming up with more ways to further decrease your available monthly income in order to pass the means test. Such as lowering deductibles, adding more insurance, adding more features to your phone, getting a better apartment, etc.
If you do these things as you near the time to file, the amounts wouldn't cover the full 6 months prior to filing; in other words, two months worth of increases would be divided by 6 to determine the expense to add into the means test, which wouldn't amount to much. Not enough history there.
I guess if you are planning to come up with more expenses, you will need to file further down the road? Whatever it takes to make a 7, I guess...
