I'm currently trying to "plan" my bankruptcy and have a few more questions. Thanks in advance.

I will be the filing alone but my fiance will be included in my household. This will put me way under the median income. I was looking at Schedule J and the IRS National Standards for Allowable Living Expenses and was just wondering if I would be using the expenses for 1 person or 2 people here.

He has no income at all (student) and I support us both completely.

You'd use the expenses for 2 people.

Keep in mind the IRS guidelines are that and your district could vary some on what the trustees see/approve.

Thank you. That's exactly what I plan to do (back up the numbers). I was just wondering what ballpark numbers are. I figure the IRS Standards should be a good starting point. We've just been scraping by to stay above water for so long that our expenses look really low.
