Receiving Bills in the Mail after Filing?

Can someone tell me what the law is regarding receiving invoices for medical bills after you have already filed and went to your 341 meeting? We are currently waiting for discharge, but are still receiving bills from hospitals. I thought they weren't allowed to do this once we filed. We haven't had any phone calls just the mailed invoices. Is this legal or should I call my attorney?

I should edit this to add that these invoices I'm talking about were included on the filing paperwork. They aren't new invoices after filing.

My atty recommends sending the bill back with the atty contact info and the case number for bills that come less than 30 days from filing. Gotta give creditors time to get the info in their system, I guess. If they arrive 30+ days post filing, we are to forward them directly to the atty's office for them to take care of because creditors will be in violation of Automatic Stay Provision of the BK code if they send bills 30 or more days after filing.

Okay, Well in that case they are definitely in violation of the Automatic stay provision.
