I am curious as to what indirect expenses increased for you after you went bk (chapter 7 to be specific). For instance companies that charged you more or cancelled your contract not because you defaulted on them but because you defaulted on someone else.
If I go bk on 2 credit cards, will indirect expenses that were not effected by the bk such as my car insurance, health insurance, cell phone bill, utilities, etc cost me more or be cancelled even though I never missed any payments or defaulted to any of them? I understand my 2 credit card companies will hold a grudge, but will Geico or Verizon care if I go bankrupt if they never missed a payment from me, a long time policy/contract holder?
