Pre BK class question again

I am working on this pre BK class again online tonight. I called in and talked to one of the counslers yesterday. They told me one thing now tonight someone else is telling me something different.

Just how exact do you have to be on this? Does your attroney get to the nitty gritty or does this have to be as exact as what your attroney gets? The first night I was on here one of the counslers said this doesn't have to be exact.

What did the two counselors say that was in conflict?

Frankly the pre-filing required credit counseling course is just a box to check in order to file. No one looks at what figures are placed into it - it's all about getting the certificate. Do whatever you have to do to finish the course successfully, be sure your lawyer has the certificate, and your box is checked.

One of the counslers said to use last years income and average it and to use my alimony I had been getting up to the first of March this year.

The counsler last night said to use the first 3 months of this year averaged and to not use the alimoney. So that is what I did and I finished the course.

Now I am going to take a week or so make sure I have everything I need and go see the attroney. I am going to call today and try to set it up for the week following a week from this weekend.

That gives me time to have everything ready, all my different taxes filed and paid and my April books for the business up to date.

I am getting there, one step at a time.
