Almost closed!
I received a notice from the Trustee yesterday that stated:
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Trustee's Final Report be and it hereby is approved and allowed, the trustee be and he/she hereby is authorized and directed to make distributions as proposed by him/her in the Trustee's Final Report, that in due course he/she file the Trustee's Final Account of Distribution and Application for Closing and Discharged and that thereafter the trustee be discharged and the case be closed.
Apparently the only payout from my estate will be assets in the amount of $1,915.97 and the Trustee gets about $850.00 (how is that justice?)
Most of that was $1500 from my State Tax Refund last year.
After 284 days Awaiting Closing, it's about time! I should expect my case to very close soon.
(And the Trustee didn't want my tax refund this year. Things are definitely looking up but I still won't rest until see CLOSED in PACER!
