Depending on how busy the court in your district is it may take awhile. If it's awaiting discharge and there were no objections by your creditors it's just a matter of the paperwork being done at the court. Ours took 71 days and our lawyer said it could take up to 90 days. We're in Arizona though.
          Filed C7: 12/16/08; 341 Meeting: 1/22/09
Last Day for Objections: 3/23/09 (No Objections)
          Discharged: 4/3/09
          Closed: 3/23/10

            BK wife,
I am in NV too, and haven't filed yet...If you don't mind me asking, did you surrender the house in BK? I only ask because we have a Chase mortgage and in NV, I am wondering how long the foreclosure process has taken.....I am wondering how to plan filing Bk in the foreclosure time frame.....
            waiting to file in july-august,
waiting for Chase to begin foreclosure,
waiting for cc's to begin lawsuits,
            just waiting (& "afraid")...

Im in northern nevada. We should have been discharged in the beginning of March. Still waiting.

We filed in June and Im betting we wont get a discharge till then either. Hope Im wrong though. My lawyer says the courts are really backed up.

You actually got a hold of your trustee??!!

Youre way ahead of me. All I get is a recorded message saying theyre not going to call people back
