    Need a question answered, please

Has anyone known of any cases where a lawyer has walked away from a client two weeks before their 341, or anytime during the process? If so, what did the clients do, and were they able to get their money back from the lawyer?

Why, do you really think this will happen? Please note, it is difficult to answer "hypothetical" questions because so many other factors are involved.

It would be very odd for a lawyer to simply walk right before the 341 meeting with at least providing a back up (really, any attorney can attend the 341 meeting because there is nothing really for the attorney to do at the meeting).

As for fees, you probably won't get any back, the bulk (practically all) of the fees are earned when the case is filed, because all the work for the fee has been done. But again, your remedy, if any, will start with the fee agreement you entered with the attorney.
