    I wouldn't assume the ebay sales are "income." If YOU paid for the books originally and then resold them for less than you paid, that's a loss, not income. This question comes up a lot from ebayers "Do I have to include ebay on my taxes?" And the answer is: Of course, if you MADE money.

    I see a lot of comments "my attorney says not to include ebay" followed up by posters saying "of course ebay has to be included." I would think the question isn't "ebay" per se, but whether you made money or not.

    BUT... this is the down the rabbit hole world of Bankruptcy and I Am Not An Attorney. And each district can be it's own rabbit hole!
