USAA cancel for BK...Any Updates?

Maybe I should cancel and collect on the Subscribers Savings Account before they just take it....

We were very surprised to get our money exactly 6 months after canceling. It was about $3500. Of course we cleaned out the account for fear they would take it.

Unless you are paying 100% of what you owe to USAA, they will eventually 'encourage' you to leave. The only clue you will get from USAA is your online access will be cut off, then shortly thereafter you will get a letter indicating that you have caused a loss to their members and that your online and certain telephone features will be eliminated, including bill pay and transfers.
You can still have a bank account with them but you have to get a paper statement and must use the touch tone banking to check you balances and transactions.

Well it's been about 6 months since my last payment to USAA and they have terminated my online access as of today. I believe because the account was charged off. I never even gave them any wind that I was going to be filing BK. I set up for automatic withdrawl on my car and auto insurance. We will see what happens there. Never been late on those loans.
