Anyone waiting to file in about 6-7 months from now?

Which makes it about September-October time frame? Just wanted to see who is in the same boat~ I can't wait for this to come and go but I have to wait it out due to lack of funds and other issues.

I'll be filing in 6 months to 1 year. Just depends on income, spending down tax return and when I get sued.

I keep pushing back when I am going to file also. But I am making payments to my attorney....I should be ready by July. I am hoping.

Since I started giving my lawyer info to my CC creditors, they have almost stopped calling me. I get about 1 a day...I can handle that.

        D.....

I am also waiting until Sept - Oct timeframe, biting nails the whole way. I wonder what I will worry about when worrying about this doesn't eat up just about every waking minute???
          Stopped paying CCs 1/1/2009
          Filed 10/2/2009 341 11/8/2009
Discharged! 1/13/2009 I can hardly believe it....

I keep waiting too, but am getting nervous. I want a particular payment to drop off, but am afraid that I could be looking at another sizeable payment coming in at the end of the year. I kind of feel like these two payments kind of have me in a strangle hold. Neither is large enough to get me out of this mess, but either one could also force me into a ch.13. Don't know what to do.

Yes, waiting until September (hopefully). Large deposit in February and lots of small ones in December and January are keeping me from filing now
Last full minimum payments were made in December. Since then I have been parceling out some money as I had it to some of the cards, mostly depending on how much I have available at the time and how negotiable they are when I talk to them.

I think I'm going to stop paying completely either this month or next. It's not like I can really afford it anyway. I'm scared that it might make them more likely to sue since they might think that I've got something more to come after (which I won't have after spending down tax refund). Maybe if I just tell them I've completely run out of funds it would be better.

Hoping to have attorney retained by June and give out his number to everyone who calls. Maybe this will keep them from doing anything drastic until I can file first of September.

We have to wait until December to file , Husbands been on unemployment for 4 months now and since he gets the max which is 564.00 per week ( includes $ 25.00 stimulas ) plus my income and the fact that there are 5 weeks this month he will get an check we are way over the median , So we must wait until Dec when he will lose his unemployment and get below the median . Having to wait so long has caused us to keep paying the mins on 10 credit cards because 9 months is to long to not pay them and we dont want to risk a lawsuit . Our plan is to stop paying the CC's in Oct .
