4 months after filing I'm finally having my 341. I have to go over all of my schedules because I don't even remember what's in this tattered file folder I've carried and guarded with my life for the past 4 months. The UST was the one who motioned for the extension of the 60 days to match the new 341 meeting so at least I already know she's involved.

Keep your fingers crossed for me. I'm driving from LA to San Diego at 6AM so I can be there before the 9AM appointment time and then back to LA to finish up the work day. Lotsa driving, little sleep and not very well organized... Yipes!

And for those who wonder what we all wear to the 341 I'll be wearing my grey pinstripe slacks from the Old Navy Clearance rack, plain black blouse and black boots. No jewelry or perfume and very little makeup.

Get some of those fake bubba teeth that you get in gum ball machines at the grocery store, that way the UST will only be able to focus on your fake teeth.


Oh, and I wore a barrel, nothin else. Except for the suspenders to keep my barrel up around the private parts. ( And some chonies )

I really went for that "Bankrupt Joe" look, seemed appropriate

It was a long morning. Mapquest gave me directions that had me 10 blocks away from the building the meeting was in. Bad day to wear boots. I paid the meter, walked the 10 blocks and was the last to be called. Turns out they wanted more documentation that I missed when I read the letter from their office. He told me he would see what I had with me after the 10:00 session was over. I had to hoof it back to my car to put more money in the meter and get my car registration out and then back again. I was a few minutes late returning and got stuck behind a guy with a very complicated bk and two creditor attorneys who also wanted to ask some questions. The Trustee knew that I had to be back in LA for work by 2PM and rushed them along so he could get back to me. I need to get the title to my car to show him. I'd filed for lost title back in January haven't gotten it yet. I think that's all that's missing and I have a week send it or else the 341 will be continued until May 12. I don't want another day like today so I'll get on the DMV to get that to me ASAP.

I'm tired, I'm grumpy and hungry enough to eat my fist right now. Gotta get back in the mindset of being at work. DingDong I hope you wore stilettos with that barrel so you could demonstrate how you will avoid bankruptcy in the future ;-)

BTW I was surprised after sitting through two hour long 341 session on how many repeat filers there were. I think there were only two of us out of 2 dozen who answered "no" when asked if we'd filed before.

Hmmmm I think we're onto something with the Stripper in a Barrel thing... For $100 you'll downsize them gooooood.

Well another thing missing was the declarations page for my auto insurance. I had the whole policy with me and had no idea what it was. Interestingly enough I got mail from my insurance company with a declaration page when I got home. They had to include it because my premium is going up $200 now that I live in LA. Did I mention I got a 5% paycut and never once got to see this big chunk of a raise I was supposed to get for transferring in a paycheck?

My feet hurt. Dinner is in the oven and I am ready to pass out.
