    I don't have a driver's license!

Does anyone know if I could bring my passport to a 341 meeting? My license was confiscated and driving privileges suspended so I no longer have a license. I use my passport for everything requiring i.d. I know I could get a State i.d., but haven't bothered as my passport has been a good substitute. I'll probably file before I get my license back, so want to know if I can use my passport. Anyone?

Not everyone drives. So yes, a passport would suffice since its an accepted form of Federal ID with a picture.

A passport will suffice since it has your current picture. Make sure you have your social security card. If not, you need to order a new one ASAP. You must have that at your 341.

          Good luck.

Thanks! I have my SS card, but believe it or not, as soon as I got it when I was a teenager, I got it laminated. Never read that line on the back that says not to laminate!

I did the same thing. I read the line and did not care. Mine was starting to fall apart. I don't care if they like it or not. Nobody has ever complained about the lamination in over 20 years.

Funny, isn't it? I did this 35 years ago and no one has ever complained either . . .

Yeah, I don't get the anti-lamination thing. When I recently ordered a new one, I was told that we are allotted 10 replacement cards in our lifetimes.

I have my original card from 1970...it has no disclaimer against laminating on it , must be a new thing.....
